  • Complete submission must be original, well-written and must not have been previously published or submitted to any other publisher.

  • Submission must be made in Microsoft Word document format (.doc or .docx) only.

  • All word limits are exclusive of footnotes

  • Submissions should be made in font Times New Roman with font size 12, line spacing 1.5'; justified.

  • Footnotes cited in the submission should be typed in font Times New Roman with font size 10, line spacing 1'; justified.

  • Referencing must be in conformity with the AP Footnoting Style.

  • If images are included, submit in jpg or gif format only.

  • A one-line gap must be maintained between all paragraphs and headings.

  • All paragraphs must begin with a one-inch indent.

  • Submission should be made in paragraphs and no submission in form of bullets shall be accepted.

  • All hyperlinks must be in black colour and must not be underlined.

  • Include an appropriate and informative title for submission.

  • Capitalize only the first letter of each word in the title.

  • Do not use profanity.

  • Avoid biased or derogatory language.

  • All submission content must be written from a neutral point of view. This allows all views to be represented fairly and without bias.

  • Authors should aim to provide complete information, and not to promote one particular point of view over another.

  • Plagiarism leverage for submission not more than 15%.

  • If a submission is accepted for publication, a declaration form must be signed and returned before we can publish your work.

  • For submission’s approval, abstract, of up to 200 words, that highlights the objectives, results and conclusions of the submission should be submitted at along with subject line in the form “Author Name_Title_Abstract_Journal”, example: Ayan_Contract_Abstract_Journal. In case of approval, the final submission should be made in reply to the approval e-mail which will be sent by the Law Community.

  • Limit Long Article to about 2000-2500 words.

  • Limit Short Article to about 800-1000 words.

  • Limit Case Commentary to about 1000-1500 words.

  • Limit Book Review to about 800-1000 words.

Submission gives the Law Community the rights to publish and edit, if needed. The review panel and editing team will review all submissions and make minor changes for grammar, flow, readability and organization prior to publication. If significant edits are needed, the editor will send the revised submission made back to author for approval. The date a submission is published will be determined by the editor.


Publication Fee

Law Community is an organization that encourage free flow of legal discourse between professionals. Publication with Law Community is free of cost.


Eligibility Criteria

Any member of the legal fraternity shall partake in these submissions. Law Community is open for all.


  • Selected submissions shall be published on our Journal.

  • Such Journal shall be highlighted on our diverse Social Media platforms.

  • Openly accessible to large number of audiences and professionals of the Legal Society.

  • Contributors will receive an e-certificate recognizing their submission.
